Macfarlane Group has completed its largest acquisition since 2001 by purchasing Pitreavie Group, a Scottish packaging firm, for up to £18 million. Pitreavie employs over 150 people across various locations in Scotland and reported a revenue of £24.8 million last year. This strategic move strengthens Macfarlane’s presence in the food and drink packaging sector.
